1. Load Data Files
Although traditionally Jitter analysis pays less attention in data
location in EUT layout than EMI analysis, the acquired data from
different EUT locations do make a difference due to the pulse signal
transiting in layout that may pick up spurious noise and rise overshot or
ringing in waveform that make jitters. You can build a
workspace for data and load the data by workspace, to link the
signal under analysis to physical location in EUT. Also loading data
by Open File is available and more flexible, and commonly used by
jitter analysis.
2. Select Working Mode
After the data are loaded, enable the Jitter button in Working-Mode
panel. The control panels below the Working-Mode panel will be
updated automatically into the jitter panels for jitter analysis.
